Nagendra Chandra Fondly known by the name “Naga” is a leather design graduate from National Institute Fashion Technology (NIFT-New Delhi). During his college years, Nagendra thoroughly studied both traditional and modern techniques for processing and shaping leather into high-quality, customer-focused products.

After completing his college in 2008 he worked in a renounced leather export house for 9 years, where he closely worked in the Design & Development department for various famous International brands. With an urge to provide truly custom products, and handmade leather products in the market, Nagendra started his studio by the name “NAGA DESIGNS” in year 2016 to bring beautiful handmade leather goods to customers. His rich experience helped him in sourcing the highest quality genuine materials for his products.

Brand “Naga” is all about old-school craftsmanship blended with innovation and novelty. Every product, from Shoes, Belts, Flip-flops & other accessories are carefully handcrafted by a team of skilled artisans. They source the best-in-class leathers from Tata leathers & veg tanned leathers from overseas and make products using traditional & modern methods like Hand cutting, Hand coloring, Hand weaving, etc. to create unique finishes and textures.

He has trained a dedicated team of artisans & finishers, nurtured their skills, and invested in innovative technology to improve efficiency and quality.

Nagendra's long-term goal is to make “Naga” a leading International brand for handmade leather accessories and footwear by blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern, functional designs, he aims to create jobs for skilled artisans and delight customers worldwide with beautiful, genuine handmade leather products.
